Manganese Phosphate
« on: July 09, 2019, 12:34:36 AM »
Hi---Scott Owens is fortunately back in business with new supplier. He is selling Magnesium dark chocolate color , and Zinc phosphate which is medium to light gray. I have place order and all seems to be up and running, have talked to his new wife and it seems we will have uninterrupted source. Back to color, has anyone use his new product and how dark is dark and is zinc to light.  I will try to mix to to see and do some testing, unless someone else has try it. Thanks

I haven't used this particular vendor's solution, but in the past, I've found that manganese phosphate matched closest to original fasteners.  Have not heard it referred to as 'chocolate' color, it has always been a dark gray.
