To me they look the same? Is there a difference?

Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

5A and 5AA are both comfortweave. The second "A" is described as a deviation code. Im not 100% clear as to what that deviation is?  It may relate to the presence/absence of the A pillar pads?

At some point during the model year all "5A" interiors become "5AA" interiors.

Pete is correct.  The AA interior does not (should not) have either the A pillar pads or the dash knee pad.  Anyone have a good idea of this change over time frame?  Feb 21?

The dash knee pad leaves at the end of December.

The A pillar pads the last week of Feb

I have the a pillar pads. Jan 11-68 build date according to the build sheet. I don't know what the difference is between the two? That's why I asked, "a greater power".  ;)

Me? I know what it is and my 68 doesn't have one. My 67 does, sure.
