Is that the Grand Master  in the photo with CSX 3009?

Which CSX...?

Sorry, I wish I could help, but even though I knew the guy who owned it in 1972, I don't know the CSX #. Here are a few pictures I took of it when my buddy, Jack Lefferts, owned it. I bought 6S2295 from him and he used that money and a for sale ad I found in the Philadelphia Inquirer to buy the Cobra. He sold it a few years later to start a business.

Those pictures show it with a rollbar. A subsequent buyer removed it.

That's Jack.

I'll keep looking to see if I can find the CSX #.

Great clue, Steve!  That means the car is CSX3227.

Thanks, Brian

I bought that car from Jack in early 1977, and removed the roll bar. In the photo of it on the trailer, just behind are 2099 and 2054. On the prior page, the blue 427 with white stripes and sunburst wheels is 3201, and the blue 289 with the FIA plate is 2260.

Thanks Ned.  I've updated my post with the photo links and chassis numbers.

And I'm likely just out of that last shot, talking to prospective buyers about the red '65 2+2 Mustang I brought to Downingtown to sell.

So, is anyone still interested in pictures from 1979?

Don't ask me for numbers, that was 38 years ago.

Wait, my telephone number then was (313)398-7462. Cheesy

This is a test. Trying to figure out why photos show as links rather that actual picture.

Think I forgot to use the little image devise. It was late when I did it.
