AMERICA – No apology necessary

« Reply #2 on: August 17, 2009, 03:32:18 PM »

This seems like Disneyland. Employees were always required to turn stuff in that was found. If no one claimed it after 30 days it was theirs. Lots of cameras went unclaimed as well as a wallet with a couple of hundred dollars that my daughter found. Seems like everyone just figures that someone kept it so no sense in going to lost and found. My daughter got the money. The unclaimed cameras and other stuff gets auctioned off to employees (who didn't claim it) at their annual charity Volent-EARS event. These are where the employees get together one evening and get pledges for the 5K or 10K on one of the rides. Imagine a 10K on Small World bring a pillow and ear plugs. And don't forget the annual employee canoe race. Who says work can't be fun.

...coming down to "last call" on this wayward camera.

Don't make us go thru the memory card any further...it gets worse than this.

Reluctantly, as threatened, we post the first five images....

Someone...claim this thing, will ya?

Well that certainly looks like the pictures I would expect on CaptDave's camera, but I thought he had some sort of Sony Alpha DSLR.  Have you dug all the way to the bottom on the Lost & Found box yet, may CaptDave is in there too...

Non-publication of additional photos will be available for a nominal ongoing payment - deletion of the files will come at a much higher price.

I like the Howard the Clown photo.  Was he trying out for a fast food hamburger joint commercial?

That second photo with Dan G. and "that guy" behind him trying to imitate a Roman ordering five beers is almost as amusing. Cool
