Mad Ugly
I will give thanks to this car for proving to the powers that were that a vinyl roof was a horrible, horrible idea.
You know I thought the vinyl top was a horrible idea but when I saw the car up close and personal, I liked it.  It was super unique and the vinyl roof was not as terrible an idea as I though before I saw it in person.  Seeing it in person really warmed me up to the top and I really liked the car.

ONE AND DONE FOR GOOD REASON- THE QUESTION STILL REMAINS TODAY- WHY?
Leave the vinyl roofs for the Mopar clan Hysterical
'cause I can't stand to see a 1st gen Mustang of any style with a vinyl roof!!

...maybe the vinyl top would look better, if it were the same color as the top stripes.

....MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABE... Hysterical

I remember seeing that car at SAAC-25 at Lime Rock, and I think at one time a doctor from PA owned it. Wasn't it recently on display down at Performance Motors in Hanover PA?

No... There have only been 2 owners since 1971 and they both lived in Northern California.

Jack Schroll owned it from Mostly Mustangs in Oakland  when we restored the car to Sales Brochure configuration.  Len Parham bought the car at Russo and Steele Scottsdale

I've never seen it finished. Last time I saw it was at SAAC1 when it was a roller on a trailer with fresh paint.

Seen it in person at an NMCACN show in Rosemont.  Love it, wish I had the dough.

I saw it during the build and in both pre and post vinyl top configuration.  Last time at a local show ... just ran across it in in a  display at a show. Think its one a few that I would not mind opening even in restored condition.  Hope it does well for the owner and builder
