After spending the day at MIS for the presentation to William Deary receiving his New Heritage GT  we spent some time on the oval... Then came to find out my oldest son was at the dragstrip  dialing in his car.... Mom decided we should go surprise him  and challenge him to a heads up grudge race ... the Real 65 still has it and for those who would rather polish than drive ... you are missing a whole lot of fun... plus family time is what you make of it!!!

Since you didn't say who won the grudge race, I'm guessing the Cricket showed the grasshopper a thing or two..... PeelOut

It was kinda like bringing a knife to a gun fight....  I did beat him on reaction times .385 to his .400  so the old man still has it.  He has one of my old race engine in his car and is over 800 HP on gasoline....   good kid and happy to let him beat me till  next year  I still have a couple of bullit's in the garage....

I'm guessing but the 64 Fairlane and the Mustang photos might be from Indy?

Rodney ....No the 64 and boss car were taken at Milan here in Michigan for the Detroit Dragway reunion  I made a couple of passes with both cars. The boss is still in its last paint and lettering from the late 70's all the decals are still original.. car has less than 300 miles since 1968 when it was used as a ford test vehicle originally a boss 302..I have owned the car for many, many years it was my neighbors back in the 70's.

Did you race title for Title? I always wanted to drap a 63 Z06 vs my 65 gt350. Sadly I didn't buy the Z06. I think it would be a great race. Anybody know the outcome?
