Isn't that the same one that has been for sale on here where the Photo's made the Paint look like Green Chrome?

I really love green on a Shelby.  Chug a Lug
30 miles in 8 years is really a shame, though.

This is a local car.  Had he simply put a price on it and posted here in the Forum, he might well have come out a little better w/o seller fees.

Seller fee on BaT is $99 which undoubtedly is one of the reasons it is popular. Selling price of this car seemed quite reasonable - is this a trend or simply an isolated case?

My personal view... A nice looking car well presented. 4spd, AC always a desirable combo. The price is healthy in my opinion.

I'd rather have taken 67 #4 the previous week for $89K...

But I'm a 67 guy...

I watch Mustangs on BAT regularly.  Standard non GT fare always seems to exceed what I believe the market is.  I buy a lot of cars and the cars on there (non Shelbys) always seem to go well into high retail

I can't speak for this particular car as I don't follow Shelbys but it looks quite nice

Guess it's worth pointing out that this is not a Gold level concours car in current condition.  Very nicely done, but would need more work to get it to that level.  This could have been why the $$ seemed a little low to some.  I'm sure the 4sp and A/C helped.

I'd love to know what percentage of Shelby buyers are looking for a concourse car verses a great looking car that 95% of the public look at with admiration

No offence to Concourse folks just wondering what percentage of buyers are looking for better than a solid and pretty car

I think most buyers like the idea that a car is a concours quality because even though they may not know about any of the differences it is common knowledge that the cars built back like assemblyline are typically easier to sell and bring more money all other things being equal. The most typical question for a Shelby seller to hear is "how original?" or "what has been changed?". There is more instance of Shelby buyers looking for investment value to justify their purchase in their own mind regardless of if it is realistic or not. A very common parameter for condition I hear from buyers looking for cars is "I want a concours quality car that I can drive and show" . That is not very realistic IMO but it doesn't stop them from thinking that it is.
