NO AFFILIATION…

1968 Shelby GT350 Hertz Rent A racer and 1 of only 223 Hertz cars.
Matching numbers Engine,Tranny and Rear End
Documented with Original Owners Manual assigned to Hertz.
Deluxe Marti a Report
4 Micro Fiche copies of work orders with serial number of car on them and 4 copies of checks from
Shelby American with work order numbers on them when the car was owned by Hertz and located at
Syracuse NY Airport.
One owner prior to me.
Magazine Article
With exception to older repaint the car has been restored.Disregard the CB Antenna:)
Original rims and Hub caps come with car
I have a 3 ring notebook with over 130 receipts totaling $23,000 In parts alone all in Chronological order,
And another 3 ring full of restoration photos.I have probably photographed every part number.
Has all original body tags and ,also has original tags on the Engine,Tranny,Rear End,Power Brake Booster
Steering box and missing the Power Steering Pump tag only.PS pump was replaced under warranty(micro fiche copy)
Possible partial trades,,,59,60 Impala or 1970 396/454 matching numbers 4 speed Chevelle,or 63-67 Matching number 4 speed Corvette plus At least $40K cash
Google "Incredible Find 1968 Hertz Shelby" This will show you the magazine article done on the discovery of the car.
Barn find article was featured in the June 2016 issue of Mustang Monthly Magazine.

Sounded from the article he was planning to keep it.
Maybe his plans changed or it was really never his intention and was just a good line for the article.

I cant imagine too many black Hertz cars in 68.

Edit: Mongo says only one black Hertz in 68. This is a color change car
