Was I the only one that heard RK stand on the stage and say at the SAAC 42 dinner that we should all be looking west for SAAC 43?

And you can't get much further west than Sonoma. Wine tour anyone?

You mean we are not going to have the annual "SAAC should pick the closest track to my house" thread? I so love that (not).

Hope SAAC lets us know the host hotel asap.   The area could already be sold out due to Monterey Week  Sad

Nope, Sonoma 1hr north of San Francisco. Monterey 2hrs south.
Also Monterey is one week later next year because of a big golf event at Pebble Beach. I hope SAAC43 is after (1st week in Sept) and not before. That way we can stay at the Fairgrounds in the RV.

The host hotel is normally the Embassy Suites in Terra Linda about 12-14 miles from Sonoma Intl.(distance off the top of my head) it is usually the host hotel for NorCal's Mini Nats and was SAAC 35. Sonoma Intl (Sears Point to most, still) is probably one of SAAC's well participated events.

Hotels will not be a problem due to the distance from Monterey, but if anyone wants their car transported with one of the big covered carriers, that will be a big problem.  Not only will it will be tough to get a reservation, if you do, prepare to spend double to get it out there.
