Anyone ever try this with their Shelby?

Another creative way to save a car:

Good for those guys!

I don't think a lot of people are aware that nearly all insurance policies require a rider (ryder?) that specifically covers flood damage or loss.

I know that if my car is on a lift and gets knocked off in an earthquake I have no coverage (it gets filed under the house contents according my insurer). Earthquake coverage is insanely expensive ($8,000 per year) so I just keep my lift on the ground whenever possible.

Perhaps you don't remember how Carroll Shelby got his start, not to mention the basis of the Cobra.
"The world minus a 911 is just fine by me"
Think about what you just wrote.  Would you really wish that someone else's vehicle were destroyed? I own two very nice Porsche 911's in addition to the GT-350's.  The last thing I would want is to see one of your vehicles destroyed. Cars are inanimate objects.  You can think ill of someone but to hate a vehicle?  Ford hated Enzo but he didn't hate his cars.
