Just curious; what is correct in referring to a '69 Shelby GT 350. Is it a Ford Mustang Shelby. Is it a Shelby Mustang, or just a Shelby GT 350? Lol, one of those topics that came up in discussion.
                                               Thanks, Pete.

You can add Shelby Cobra to the list. Hysterical  Ford bought the rights to the name in 67 and since the 427 Cobra was out of production they decided to use it on the Shelby in 68.  Chug a Lug

I dont think it is a Mustang. It is based on a Mustang. Shelby was the manufacturer.

Titles to vehicles are items of the individual states. There is no uniformity, it is entirely dependent on when, where and even who titles the car. Results varied greatly.

Sales ads for 1969 simply state "Shelby GT350/500 ... Powered by Ford".

If anyone out there has a copy of an original MSO for a '69 GT350/500 that would rather clearly indicate how the manufacturer identified the car.
