What would be the expected finish on the clutch equalizer spring bracket, the bracket that mounts to the firewall with the parking brake lever mounting bolts? While we're at it how about the finish of the spring itself?

Typically bare metal but have seen a few with black paint reminents still visible. Light blue on BB is what I have seen.
