Will a '67 289 2V intake manifold work on a mid '80's 302 2V engine block and heads ?

So far it looks that it will work but I won't really know until I try it.
It appears that it will physically fit but I wanted to see if any knew for fact.

Thanks !

Fact it works-Enjoy!   Running a similar setup on a mid 80s project of mine.

Be careful to use an intake gasket that is compatible for both. There is some water jacket variation through the years.

I had an engine that had tubes, wires, hoses, fuel rails, injectors, upper and lower intake manifolds all to be removed and installed a standard intake manifold and carb set up. IT became a very good running setup, use it regularly. Chug a Lug
