Greetings!  I was able to purchase an original 10-spoke wheel for my spare, so now my Mystery Wheel is available to some lucky buyer!

I strongly believe that this was an original 10-spoke wheel that a prior owner, in an admirable effort to reduce unsprung weight, milled down the fins.  Why do i think this wheel started life as an original '66 10-spoke?  Please refer to the attached pictures and see (a) the flush mounted valve stem, (b) the unique lug nut holes, and (c) the backside of the wheel (more on this below).

There are several compelling reasons to buy this wheel:
 (i)  I no longer need it.
(ii)  it's very unique.
(iii)  it's lighter than an unmodified 10-spoke.
(iv)  if so motivated, you can test your restoration skills.
(v)  and for you concours folks on a budget:  You can use it as a spare, because face down in the trunk, it's indistinguishable from an original wheel.

Here's your chance!  $200 plus shipping.

The recessed areas in an Original 10 Spoke go deeper than the Rim so it would have to of been milled a LOT making the Rim unsafe to use.
