I'm guessing its "survivor status" is what brought the bucks  Chug a Lug
imagine what it would have brought if it had the missing parts.
IMHO, the missing parts can be found and detailed to look right at home.( even at a significant cost)
But what can't be found or reproduced on a "Concours car"is originality , assembly line procedures , car history, soul.
Just knowing it hasn't been pulled apart, and that the sealers and paints are correct.
To me these cars are at the top of the tree and prices seem to reflect that.  Smiley

Of corse these comments are based on this car being as it is being represented. Wink
