My December, 1968 built 1969 Shelby had 2 of these clips in the photo below installed.  One was on the right shock tower and the other was in the right export brace holding the wiring harnesses.

I think they were probably original to the car since most of the engine bay was very original when I took over ownership.  I've never seen these white clips on other 1969 Shelbys.  Has anyone else seen these used on an early car before?

Mine have yellowed over the years.  Does anyone know where I could buy some new ones?  Thanks.

I guess these white clips are something nobody else has seen before on an early car.  The original clips might have been replaced by a prior owner so I may set these white ones aside and use the black new ones I have.

Below is photo of my engine bay and white clips when I bought the car in 2009.

Likely scenario. A pretty safe choice IMO.  I certainly haven't seen them all but have seen many survivor early 69's over the years and not the white clips. You can easily changed them back if you find legitimate provenience  .

Thanks Bob.  I will set the white clips aside.   Another unusual item found was the tape holding up the original wiring harness to the left side export brace.
