May 1970, May Day Parade in New Westminster BC, Canada.

The Musgrove (Ford) Mustangers had a group of cars in the parade. We were participants as my dads 1967 GT-A Fastback was farther back in the pack.

Saw that '69, and that was it....I was 7 years old and it was a dream...which was realized in August 1991 when I acquired a '68 GT500KR (which we still own today)

I would cross paths more than a few times over 4 decades. A article was written about that car in the September 2015 Hemmings Muscle Machines, and my minor history with it.

I'm pretty sure it was in 1966.  Some fellow on the next block rented a 66 GT350H.  Red with gold stripes.  I don't remember if I disappointed due to the automatic trans.  My buddies and I were on our bicycles just a few few away, standing in the street checking it out.  The the guy came out and suggested we "move on".  That guy was a crank anyway.
Funny thing is, just 3-4 doors down from "Mr  Crank" was a fellow who was dating a high school class mates older sister.  He owned the  67 GT 350 I bought from him, but I never saw that car on the next block.  Must have snuck in and out all the time.
