I know they are supposed to be 'inspired' by the originals, but they do look sharp.  As a set for driving around, they might fit the bill.  Has anyone bought them?  How do you like them?  Were they fairly true and easy to balance?

Brian,

We have not gotten any of these in, but we have many of the other styles, including the Cragars. All of them look fantastic, and we have had great success with balancing them. I really like the wheels. If you are interesting in purchasing a set, please contact me directly.

Thanks for asking, Brian.  I've been wondering the same thing, as they seem to be very reasonably priced, too.

What sizes are they? Any weight savings?

I purchased a set for a customer. They did a nice job making them and are available with either a gray or black center. We chose the dark gray color and the finish was nicely done. I did not have any problems balancing them and it really brightened up the appearance of the car.
Polished aluminum however does not look like chrome plated steel. You have no problem telling the difference especially if the car is near an original car with correct wheels. Do not order their optional centers. They are the wrong diameter, similar to a 10 spoke center and look terrible because of it. The centers that are included with the wheel are cheap quality but the proper diameter to accept a Magstar emblem.
The wheels are extremely light compared to the original Magstars.

I just purchased a set last week.    They look great and the price is right.    I know and everybody else can tell these are not original,  but as I've read they look great and my car is a driver,   so I look forward to traveling many miles with them.
