If your into cougar's, this is the show to be at.

In addition to the 50th anniversary of the GT500, it's also the 50th for the Mercury Cougar.

So the Cougars are coming to Dearborn, same Bat time, same Bat station as SAAC-MCR Show & Go 42.

Ours is a two day event, but we don't have hotel and such. The Cougars do. They are staying at the Double Tree, 5801 Southfield Expressway, Detroit, MI 48228 (313)336-3340.

For more Cougar information go to: www.catsccc.com

Just got message from Cougar Club, Double Tree by Hilton is about a mile from Ford World HQ. They can accommodate truck and trailer. (313)336-3340 tell them your with the Cougar Club, they won't know any different. Smiley

Thanks to all the members and participants of your Show and Go yesterday at Ford's World Headquarters. How you got some many cars set up so nicely with such a small group of volunteers was amazing. The size and scope of the show made it like a mini Ford Carlisle
I've never seen that many Cougars at one tine ever, and they ran the gambit from unrestored "beaters" to perfectly restored examples, the addition of Cougar Number 1, the Cougar funny Car, the very impressive Cougar II and the "hard luck" Cougar that was wrecked made show great. The line up of the Ford GT's was unbelievable, all that horsepower and sophistication all in spot it made for a great display. The Shelby's were great, with most years represented, the red 70 convertible was a car to die for and the 67 "light car" (inboards, outboards, and fog lamps) was a great example of how people make the cars fit what they want it to be. 3 68's and a 1966 survivor car, a "clone car" that was almost perfect, the list could go on and on. I'm glad I made the choice to make the drive up to Dearborn and see the show and the award I won will find a prominent place in my little office where I keep all my stuff.
Thanks again to all and thanks for a great show with fantastic cars, phenomenal location and fabulous people

Now that you've seen the GR Auto Gallery person (1 of 2, we'll save the other one for another post), I suppose now you want to see the car?
