I purchase the GT 500 from JC Lewis Ford in Savannah, GA.  I believe that Shelby used it as a show car prior to sending it to JC Lewis to display when they got the Shelby franchise, and it had over 2000 miles on it but was never titled until I bought it.  I believe it was in the summer of 1968, and I was in the Army stationed in Savannah.  After I got out of the Army, I moved to Huntington, Indiana and it was titled and licensed there from 69 until I sold it.

It was a 68 GT 500 convertible (not a KR) blue with a white convertible top and black interior and a 4 speed transmission.

Is there any way to track down this car?  Or identify it with the information shown?

Thank you for any information you may have.
