Agree, your Car looks beautiful!!  Congrats again!!

Also, interested in knowing how you put the tires together.  Avons?  Stencil kit for Goodyear?  Where get?

Thanks!!

You can use any tire you prefer but Avons are the best tire in my opinion.  I used a 4 1/2 Angle Grinder with a 130 grit sanding disc to remove the black raised letters. Then a fine sanding block to finish smoothing it out. I power wash the tires to remove any grim or leftover rubber from the sanding process. The letters are from Treadwear.... it's their Goodyear Billboard kit. They are rubber letters that glue onto the tires. I've used them on my old car and they work great. Gives you the Billboard look but on a radial tire. As time goes on the letters get dingyer and look even better. If you like the bright white just keep em clean

Here is another supplier;

https://www.tirestickers.com/

Sounds as though their upscale version lasts the life of the tire.

What size Avons did you use?

https://tredwear.com/billboard-tire-letter-kit-3/

Their site has changed some but just call to order. They have a 2" and 2.5".... I use the 2" kit.

235 and 295

Obviously, there are still a lot of us out there that like RWL tires. Including, according to your link, Ken Block.

Tire Manufacturers should take note and offer it as an option again.
