I posted this some time ago and just know following up.

I posted the following in Shelby Forums.

"I know this is a LONG SHOT, but here it goes.

I had a 1968 GT500KR Convertible, automatic, from 1970 to when I sold it in approximately 1975. I would like to know how to locate, and no I dont have much to go on.
The car had the light green exterior paint, with saddle interior and a white top.

It was sold to two dealer guys coming up from the Carolinas, I lived in Hempstead on Long Island at the time. All I remember about these guys is one said Im painting this red I almost changed my mind that second, and have regretted it since, as I saw them drive away in it.
I have no further information no VIN. Etc.

Any direction The trail is cold.
Any way that NYS would still have records?

Thanks.  "

Two members, Carolsnake and TLEA suggested to contact you.

"You need to get with Mongo.

The car would have a C6 transmission behind a CJ.

The numbers of cars with those features, shipped to NY would only be one or two.

It's too bad you dont have any more numbers."
I have lttle to go by except as stated above.
The only thing I can add is that the person I purchased it from changed the top from black to white, and that it had stamped wheel covers.

If you have any information - possible vin, location etc.

I purchased the car on long island is the only other item I can add.

I know this is old but life took me a little sideways.
the car again was 1968 GT 500 KR convertible automatic.  color lime green metallic with saddle interior.
