Just wondering if anyone has removed the vent window glass from it's frame. I don't mean removing the vent window assembly from the frame, rather actually removing the glass from the stainless frame. Is it a simple matter of saturating the oil tape to soften it or is there a preferred method?
   Thanks.              Pete.

I usually spray some penetrating oil all around  .  let it sit for an hour than get my heat gun out and be carefull .  I cut a flat screwdriver to fit exactly in the frame and I carefully pry it out when it gets soft

Heat gun for sure...that seems to work well.  And a block of wood to tap it out with.

Thanks guys. Just purchased all new glass, and want to polish the frames before it is installed.
