Does anyone have anything related to this dealer? (information, pics, advertising, license plate frames)

Thanks,

Brian

Just bumping this.  Still looking for any info on Republic Ford.  I'm sure that a bunch of you also have cars from Republic?  So far I've had little luck.

Last August,  I had the pleasure of looking at a project car in the Houston, Tx area.  It was a dark green 1967 Shelby with automatic and air conditioning (67211F5A).   The car was completely apart.  However, in the middle of the cars rear bumper was a mostly complete sticker from Republic Ford.  I have a partial picture of this sticker.  Email me and I will be glad to send you the picture.  Thanks Dean.  Houston Strong

I just got this from Dean.  Republic advertising seems to be far and few between considering how many cars were sold through them.

Yes Pete,  it I was really looking for something more like a liscense plate frame or dealer tag.  I also know a lot of members with cars from Republic would like to see them also.

Yes, you would think all the dealers would have (dealers) the license plate frame.  That is not necessarily true.  For instance, Jack Loftus Ford (Hinsdale IL), who sold a lot of Cobras and Shelbys had no frames made.  I got this information from Jack's son after looking and asking for years.  But, until you get that onformation like that, keep looking.
