Chad did you then sell the car to Rahal?  I always thought Rahal bought it from Craig..

ANYWAY, this car is the reason I love Mustangs, and specifically fastbacks.  I grew up walking by this car!  the family was like my second family growing up.  Mr5oa is AWESOME!!  ha ha.  I will let him tell the full story when the time comes.

Oh that car in Patina form slays me

I've told the story about the car I saw years and years ago at a Florida village car show that was lovingly worn and owned by a great guy that chatted to me about it. I "ordered" my car from Orlando Mustang with a description of that car I had lusted after for years

Hey Dkutz,  Craig Conley brokered the deal for me.  He found the car if you will.  Then called and told me about it and we put a deal together so I could buy it.  It was a crazy deal.  I look forward to hearing Mr5oa story.  I kept the car for 2 or 3 years and then sold it Bobby Rahal.  It is a cool car!  That car had a black intake with an engine tag.  Did it get restored back that way?  Don Hovel (the gentleman that restored the car) is a great guy and really knows what he is doing!!  Anyway another car I wish I had kept!

Thanks for sharing those pics Chad.

Do you know if it was a stripe delete originally?  Or did she just have some vinyls on the roof, as I can barely see the stripe lines?  Maybe they were painted over?

Those two pics are so damn cool.

She sat outside for MANY years, the sun deleted the stripes.  She was born with them.

Ah...the ole "Sun Stripe Delete".

A very rare option, but real nonetheless.   Grin
