5006 - Again being abused, just like in the 1970's

I have been out on the road for the past few days so if anyone noted this I did not see it.

Shelby American officially intoduced the Mustang GT350 to the press at Riverside Raceway in California on January 27, 1965. So the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the Shelby Mustang was 3 days ago!! How did that milestone get past all of you?  Head knock

Didn't get past my daughter, she saw it somewhere in 'This Day in Automotive History' and told me about it.   Wink

You are right Mark, I look at that photo John showed me in Charlotte of the '65's lined up in the Riverside paddock ready for the press to drive, and wonder - Which one is 006 ?
