The Summer 2014 Issue of the Shelby American is online for instant viewing...and it is loaded with new articles and interesting reading.


The latest issue of the club's magazine is now online and available for reading on the SAAC Members Only site.

As you know, the online magazine is only available to SAAC members. You must log in to the site for access to the magazine index pages. Look for the Summer 2014 in the Members menu tab.

The Summer issue contains TEN great articles...

This issue contains a spread of articles covering Monterey 2014 and some very interesting historical topics.....and the Greybeard Chronicles revisits SAAC-17!

Congrats for a very good publication as usual. One more on the shelf later in print version:-)

A few updates on some cars mentioned in there.
- The Shelby found in France was/is 6S948 acc. to the seller (mentioned on page 20)
- The Shelby style Mustero at Goodwood 2014 was a car built by Mick Bull in the UK before 2008. Imported from the US, it was a basket case, but a real Beverly Hills Mustero before and he turned it into that ivy green "Shelby-style" Mustero with lots of goodies (463HP). The car is now owned by Bill Shepherds.

Once again, great job to those involved in pulling all of this together.

As editor of the NorCal SAAC DRIVEN newsletter, I know firsthand how much work is involved.

On a side note, that's our DHG 68KR on last page of the Monterey piece. We were at the Mecum auction where we consigned our 09 GT500KR
