Do we continue to see the picture of that finish today? Of course. It is one of my favorites of all time. But I choose to think it was only made possible by the individual efforts and talents of people like Miles. Not by the pompous desires of a sponsor like Henry Ford.

Henry only provided the $ - Ford's race employees of the era were the NY Yankees of their time. You can't discount that Henry didn't put all his eggs in one basket I think Holman & Moody had more GT40 wins than SA.

I agree with you guys that the finish at Le Mans 66 was a fiasco but thats the way it is. Lets just keep the memory of Ken Miles alive.  Cool
By the way is there lots of his trophies in the Shelby Museum? even ones from the 50`s. I must go there one day.
