Hey Jim,

I have one on my 1969 GT350 4spd car built in February. It is # 1088. So there are at least two!

5006 - Again being abused, just like in the 1970's

Mongo asked vinman on his 69 350 conv 4-sp carb and has same "choke shield" on his carb just like photo. unique to shelby 350 carbs only. Mongo knows.

If you look at the picture the carb is on an iron intake. Car in question was a 1969 Mustang low mileage.  No candy gram for Mongo!

Ive never seen any 69 or 70 GT350s with anything other than the Shelby aluminum intake.  This bracket is not unique to Shelby cars

Looked through all my 69 Shelby and Mustang pictures and could not find another one like the picture. Did find a few with the flat style choke shield - maybe we have a short run or a running change.

Jim is the car in the picture you posted a Dearborn car and from what period?

While we're discussing 69 carb brackets (not too far off thread)

350 with auto and AC - anti-stall or no anti-stall?

Thanks
