What Rolex Submariner is the Best Investment?

What a joke of a title

Never buy a watch, car or any other compulsory item as an investment.  Buy them because you want to enjoy them and you can.

I asked my Brother in law a couple years ago , why the Hell did you spend 20k on a watch? He waited 2.5 seconds with an answer... Because I can! Good answer I told him..... :-\

In 1965, a ROLEX Submariner could be purchased at the Clark AFB PX for the princely sum of $167.

The James Bond character wore the Rolex Submariner watches from 1962 to 1989 in films like ‘From Russia, With Love’, ‘Thunderball’ and the very well known ‘Goldfinger’ films. While these Rolex Submariner models  were based on these films, it would only be the 6538 which earned the highly regarded nickname of ‘James Bond’ and the title of possibly the best Rolex to buy.
