Trying to find out if there is any creedence to the tale of Shelby testing these Hill dual carb setups on a Cobra, or GT350..

The throat on this Hill model ''J'' variable Venturi type carb is huge!

I have stumled across your post.  I was wondering how much knowlege you have of these carbs for I have to set of modle J's.  Any help in the future would be great.
