I am also aware of an open track event being planned at Summit Point for June 2nd, then possibly a rally/poker run up to Carlisle for the Ford Nationals.

I'll post more info as plans 'firm up'.

Zman: When will you know affirmatively about the June 2nd  track day at Summit Point? Thanks, Seattle 6

The open track appears to be a Team Shelby event tied in to the Carlisle Ford Nationals:

Some of us from the Southeastern VA Shelby Club are going to try and show up at the Mustang Club of Tidewater show at Cavalier Ford (the location at 1515 South Military Hwy, Chesapeake, VA) this coming Saturday, April 16. The show opens at 9AM. Tim Kilinski, Wayne Taylor and a few others are going to try to meet at  the parking lot adjacent to the Indian River Recreation Center, which is right behind Cavalier Ford and the Masonic lodge (located on Old Greenbrier), and it is close enough that non-street legal cars could be driven to Cavalier from there. They still plan to meet at 930 AM, then arrive at the show as a group around 10 AM. If you would like to get together with these guys to arrive as a group, please call Tim at (757)-375-5091 or Wayne at (757)-537-7498 (or Email those guys- kilinskit@yahoo.com or dwtaylor@hughes.net).

Link below for show information

Hope to see you there.
