100 year old Model T wins - if you keep the company owners personality out of the equation. My grandmother with the family T.

98SVT,
I would say that your family has been Ford buyers for years?
Very cool clip.

BTW, search out a kid from Australia that bought a Model T and had it shipped down under.
Maybe called how to drive a Model T, or ?
I watched it about 3 years ago, had about 1 million views  as I recall.
This link you provided>> kind of goes along with the intrigue of driving and owning one.
I personally would like to own a pre 1918, as this was the end of Brass era>> way cool cars/
Respectfully,
John

Generally but Not always - here's my dad at 12 or 13 in his mom's new Chevy and a clip about his stepdad's new shop in Saginaw MI.
Brass cars are neat but a whole different animal to restore. Very hard to find correct parts. I had a T board track racer. It had run the Monterey Historics for the first 18 years. A couple months ago I picked up a 29 A Coupe. High compression head, touring cam, insert bearings, overdrive, KH wheels and radials a real touring piece.

Brett,
I would imagine that many do not relate to a T board racer ?
Oval tracks were constructed with rough cut oak that motorcycles and cars ran on.
Soldiers field in Chicago had one, Soldier Field.

The pre war class's are pretty cool and actually from what I have seen, very popular.
Nice looking Model A.

Thanks - the T I had ran in the Bay Area of CA. There was a board track in Beverly Hills of all places in the late 20s.
My grandfather raced an Excelsior on dirt tracks - he said 60 mph was enough to awe the crowds.
