I have been looking for a new Maverick Truck, the Hybrid, BUT every dealer with in 300 Miles of Tallahassee that has one has a Mark Up of $10,000 to $20,000 on them.  Do any of you know any Dealerships that do NOT add the Mark Ups that would have one?

If everyone felt like I do about the markups no dealer would have them. They probably wouldn't digest well when they have to eat them... ;)   ;D

MARKUP? KEEP THEM. A-HOLZ. When the economy falls and they all of a sudden sell at dealer cost, will anyone have the money to buy?

Those that NEED a car/truck will pay. A lot of dealers are buying cars/trucks for retail from the small out of the way dealers. Then adding transportation and the usual profit to what you are calling "markup". When it's a buyer's market everyone touts Mfg Suggested Retail Price as the starting point for your discount. Today it's a sellers market and the dealer has his suggested price as his starting point. Ford should quit putting the price on the maronie. Once the car hits the lot it's the property of the dealer and his to market to the best advantage to his company.

I recommend that you wait and buy a used one 12 months from now. They will be selling for $10K - $20K below sticker price with 10,000 miles on them. No sense taking it in the A$$.

The Mavericks are selling as fast as the dealers get them here due to the demand for a Toyota Dakota size truck.  Not everyone wants an F150 or Silverado size truck.  The Ranger is now bigger and sits too high.  The Maverick does have a lot of power or payload capacity, but there is a strong market for it as a repalcement for the old Ranger series.  8)

Buy used. NEVER pay over sticker...on any vehicle. Personally, I think the new Maverick truck is ugly. This is just my opinion, so you can say I'm biased against it.

I bought a 2021 Rapid Red Ford Ranger Super Crew STX 2x4 NEW and I love it.  I average 25/26 MPG around Town and 28/30 on the Highway.  The only reason I am selling it is because my Dad has a hell of a time getting up in it and at 86, he has way too many Doctor Appointments, which is why I am wanting the Maverick.  It is loaded with the Towing Package, Pilot360, WiFi Hotspot, and just 30K Miles.  $33,500.

I just purchased a new Maverick for an employee.  Got it here in PA.......NO MARKUP.  Prior to that in the last 6 months I purchased a new F250 and Ranger both at $5K over sticker.

Apple Ford in Red Lion PA was the no markup dealer
