I would not let those two clowns work on my lawnmower let alone a car.

Did you notice the side shot of the Chevy PU they built on the same show? The door was 2-3 shades darker than the fender - guess that's why all the pro guys paint it as an assembly.

A shop that has the time to be on tv , must not be busy enough doing restorations.
I worked for a shop that discovery channel approched  and we discussed it and decided it was not in our best interest as a restoration shop.

the guy selling the Shelby to Richard had a nice yellow 70 Boss 302  - you could see it in the background at the house (it looks like it was in a back garage area).

the show is OK  I  shake my head too, but get a good laugh. what I don't understand is how the guy with that big beard can work, get dirty and not catch fire.

I wonder how much $$ Discovery channel gives these ass monkeys. I think I missed the GT350 show but I did see one when a mustang was wrecked on a test drive. I shake my head at times especially when they chop the frame up. They find some nice cars then rush to auction  at times and lose out on $. That F40 they rebuilt I am suspect since they were in partnership with a friend/collector they deal with.  They do come across a good range of cars.

Has anyone ever seen the paint job a month later? The lack of preparation has a way of "showing itself" once the paint settles.

+3, if they tried to work on one of my cars, I'd show them the business end of a 12 gauge.  Complete bums, dirty, and not funny.  Of course you just love to watch so you can (word is not allowed) about them.

There's several reasons why some people are on TV.
