I love my 68 purple dream, it always makes me grin when I see it and it is a blast to drive.  But, these new shelbys are so awesome.!!

We've been fortunate to own a used 2010 gt500, purchased back in May. There is no doubt, it is fun to drive! Totally docile driving around town, as long as you only use the first 1/3 of the throttle.  I'm getting 17-18 mpg driving it back and forth to work each day!  Then there are the moments when you get to
play.   Grin  Of course the moments are over pretty quickly.  I've been so impressed with how it pulls when you get after it.

I was really looking forward to driving during our scheduled track day at PIR last September, but the club had to cancel the date, because of low participation. Next year.

These new Shelbys are really quite awesome machines. If you get the chance to drive one, don't hesitate.  You'll like it.

Thanks That's the first time in 25 years its been anywhere out of state & been in storage since 87 & 2 years ago we got it out for my wedding. The paint (mostly original) is very faded & we put clearcoat on fiberglass & body to get more shine back. The car has 25.xxx miles on it & was parked in storage in 73 until I got it & now know complete history on it & its in old registry #2539. I have been collecting parts for 30 years to do concours resto someday but want to just drive it for now & with the w-code 4;30 gears it will pass everything BUT a gas station!!!!!
