I recently purchased a 64 Falcon Sprint to restore and removed the current drivetrain.  The previous owner said the the engine was a Hipo 289 originally and had been stroked and bored to 306CI with a toploader. Prepared by a local speed shop. The car was a hobby 1/4 mile car.  What I found when I removed it was a five bolt 289 block dated 1963 build with a 1964 date. It has Hipo main caps, including C3OE-A end cap and a hipo Balancer with 1963 date codes.  The heads are Hipo with 1963 date codes. It does not have a hatchet weight.  Not sure what the rods and piston are, but it is a 302 crank.  It has a windage tray, ford racing oil pan and an Edlebrock intake.  I do not plan to use any of the parts, so they are for sale.  It ran strong when I removed it, I have a video if interested. Was also told the it has a comp cams extreme energy cam and roller tip rockers.  $2500.00 for everything listed. SOLD
