Yes Barsow on over on the Old Mother road is some great times...Many old abandoned town sites and some fantastic photo ops! Great trip!

Route 66 Fun Run is a great idea except Barstow the first week of July.  Went through there during SAAC 30 and it was pushing 110 degrees!

My bad; didn't realize the Left Coast got the gig for 38.  How about 39 then?

I know, Barstow in July will be brutal, and Amboy too.  And I don't even have A/C in my '68 KR, but a wise senior SAAC judge told me to just open the side vent windows and the vents under the dash and that is just like A/C was in '68..... Hysterical
