I found a dual point mech advance distributor online for my C code Mustang, my car is  a clone.  I currently have the stock vacuum advance dizzy with a Pertronix Ignitor in place of the points. I was planning on installing the mech advance dist and installing the same Ignitor that I currently have in my car.

Does anyone see any problems with plan? Driveabilty? Seems pretty straight forward but I just wanted to check with the experts in case there was some thing I hadn't thought about.

I have a dual point dizzy in my 1968 350.  When I switched it to Pertronix, it used a special number for the dual point , as opposed to a single point.
Look closely at mounting points inside dizzy before swapping Pertronix unit.
