headliner bow question
« on: November 15, 2021, 10:02:15 AM »
On a 69 fastback headliner bows, from my understanding, I can only use bows from a 69 or 70 fastback on my car.  True? Question is, how many bows are there, and does anyone have the color codes for them? And does anyone have a idea where I can find a set since my car is missing these?

The interior assembly manual will show how many. And will show the color codes for each. Different roof stamping pair years: 65-66, 67-68, 69-70.

Unfortunately, that is one of the few manuals that I don't have, and have not been able to locate.  Do you ant least know if it is four or five bows?

I do not know (I'm more of a 67-68guy), but if you have the old headliner there or the new one, count the loops on the back.  Or, count the hole stamped in the roof rail by Fomoco.  I imagine it's 3.
