They are supposed to be great but I heard the front shocks require some grinding/clearencing of the shock tower top opening
to make them work.
I would rather not do this to my orig 69 GT500.
I don't mind bolt ons but cutting/grinding does not sit well with me.
Does anyone in SAAC land run the IAS shocks?
Did you have to do any grinding to get the fronts to fit?

Thanks,
TonyS.

They are currently installed on 1584 (69 GT500 fastback), no grinding appears to have been done to install them front or rear.

I am currently using them on my 69 Mach 1 and I did have to do quite a bit of grinding on the tower caps to get the head of the shock to fit in. The head of the shock was considerably larger that the Grab a Track shocks I was running prior.

I have them on my 68 GT500 and did have to do some clearence grinding on the front upper mount caps. If you are concerned with this just pick up a pair of replacements and use them then store you originals. simple solution.
