Expensive for sure but we are vacationing in Portugal now and the gas prices are the equivalent of $7.15 US per gallon - so it could be a lot worse.

Europe has always been off the charts where fossil fuel is concerned.  Me, I like fossil fuel so much, I want to buy myself a Fossil watch just to flaunt it at the EV crowd.

The wealthy in this town dont care what fuel costs. The south side will just jack up the price of dope to cover it. The middle just get screwed over as usual. The down state folks want Chicago voted off the planet.

I do spend about twice as much money per month on coffee as I do on gas. Got to help keep people employed. I tipped $10 to all 25 workers at my Peets coffee place as a thank you for working through the pandemic and not sitting on there Azz taking the government hand out.
