Pic 1 - Is this external filter an aftermarket filter to replace the internal one?

Pic 2 - Missing housing shown in Pic3 ?

What type of fuel filter was installed from the factory?  Huh??

Thanks

That solid filter in the third picture is aftermarket. The correct filter thread directly into the bowl

Thanks Pete,   Chug a Lug

So picture 1 is 'correct'?

Is a current replacement filter 'concours correct'? Or close enough not to worry about?

No idea who I was hanging around with at the SAAC concours judging to think about these things?   Hysterical

Several vendors have the clear plastic stickers with the C7OE part number on them to make an aftermarket filter look closer to original.
Ford spec'd (production) dual feed carbs never used the setup in pic #3 just #1
