That is an offer you should not refuse. Seeing one of these cars is a rare treat and I have judged # 3760. It is an exceptional car.

Okay so, here's a link to a judging form. Its an older form and I removed the identifying information (so no one is embarassed or offended)

With a new Concours Chairman, I would fully expect to see judging change in the coming years. It has been quite a while since anyone examined the practices. Time will tell if it becomes easier or harder. I guess those are subjective. I won't speculate, but I think you will see a change.

We have some very nice cars in the club. While this isn't for everyone, it certainly is nice to have these around.

Currently the SAAC system is based on a 900 point scale.

Pete, Thanks for the kind words.  I'm working on it.  Still looking for a good dash pad. Hope to be gold this year.

94 Cobra,
      I'm located in Youngstown, OH about an hour a way from you.  Your more than welcome to come check out my KR vert. It placed silver last year and I'm working on moving it up.  I also have my sheets you can look over.

Thanks 683760 - I will take you up on that offer.  I'd like to come on a weekend sometime, preferably when your car is on jack stands or off the ground so I can see under it.  I will PM you to make arrangements.  Is your car Div 1 or Div 2?  A/C or no A/C?  My KR is a no A/C automatic.

hey Mike;

   if you guys get together on a Sunday I'd love to drive down from cleveland and check out your car.  When we were at saac 34 I was too caught up in my own car.  I'd love to share some stories and talk shelbys. I've also been playing around updating all the imperfections on my car as well.

My car 4spd with no air.  Weekends are best for me.  Drop me a pm and we'll set something up.

Mark,
     Hope all is well with you.  Your more than welcome to come down.

Thanks for the tip Pete.  I wish all the other problems were as easy to fix as removing a decal.   Roll Eyes

I'm trying to find out what the deal is with the p/s cooler.  I have a black one with shorter metal tubes.  I've seen some cars with a funky green colored one.

All p/s coolers are black are you thinking of engine oil cooler for a/c 428 cars as it was a funky greenish color.

Thanks Ed.  I didn't know that was an oil cooler.  I've already learned something.  I suspected I had the wrong p/s cooler for the past 20 years.
