Oh wait a minute, that was a fantasy dream I had. Seriously after wrestling with repro part after repro part on the current resto I put on Scotts exhaust today. What a joy. I know we've all praised him before but everytime I put on his systems I am amazed how nice they really are.

Wait till you see 70 dual exhaust mufflers are done (straight thru pipes) & here that throbbing sweet sound. You transverse 67-69 cross-flo muffler guys will be taking that exhaust off & putting it on shelf & using 70 no flo restriction true dual straight thru pipes & have more HP & better sound. In june 69 ford shop tips article ford had 10 things to do to your car for better performance & increased HP & they said to remove crossflow exhaust & install new 70 style exhast system.

I plan to put dual mufflers on my 69 convertible this year. As Ed said, better performance and sound. Plus, no more fumes in the garage from the hot muffler heating the fuel in the tank any more. I was planning on Flowmaster Delta Flows, but will check into the Fuller straight-thru mufflers.

Well, in my attempt to "reproduce every Mustang part made", take a look at these gems I picked up today. Just finished them.

I haven't used one of Scott's exhaust yet but my friend put one on his 69 SCJ. He wanted my help to do it. Well he didn't need it because the exhaust went up so good and fit perfect it was a one man job. Most of us have only stuggled putting exhausts on cars. Thanks to Scott that is a thing of the past. Yes, Scott makes some real high end stuff, we all need to support his efforts, after all he is a car guy like us. Or you can buy the cheap repo stuff, if that's what you are going for.

I understand there is a proposal in concours circles to change the language to.....
" car must have a Fuller part or a suitable Ford equivilent "
