My Grandson wanted me to take him and two friends for a ride today for his buddy's birthday. They laughed and were talking loud the whole ride except when we stopped at a light. One of them kept saying "Hey they are checking us out."

Amen!  That's the key - you've gotta hook 'em while they are young!  BTW - I thought you we going to say that you got to the stop light and then lit 'em up.  ;)

I took my youngest daughter with me to a car show today (just to have a look around).  She's 14, and is starting to recognize different makes and models.  And, of course, she has her favorites...wonder what brand that would be?  ;D
Nothing beats a classic!

That's the way to do it for sure!

10 year olds love these cars!

Two of my kids have their own 60's Mustangs and continue the tradition.
And they catch a ride with me and we go to shows as often as possible.

I had one of my 14 grandkids looking at my Shelby. He wanted to know what the window crank was for. He had never seen one.

Reminds me of a classic photo taken on the last drive I ever had with my '65 and my girls years ago
