A gem in our backyard!
The Cobra Daytona Coupe and the Corvette GS will be run at the "People's Choice Demonstration Day" Saturday 11/26. Dr Simeone will talk about the Corvette-Cobra rivalry of that time period.
The GT40 (not sure which one), Testarossa, and Porshe 917 will be on separate static display for "up close & personal" inspection.
Sounds like a good time  Grin Check that website for details.

Nice event there today, looked like a good turnout - great weather.
I got a good look at the 917 LH ("the Hippy Car") today with the hood open.
Let's see - per the museum guys, we're talking a car that weighs less than 2000 lbs with 550 hp. This car still holds the absolute lap record at LeMans, top speed about 240 mph  Shocked
The Grand Sport looked like the neglected step-child as folks crowded around the Daytona Coupe, GT40, and especailly the 917.... where were the "Chevy guys"?
"Z-man" said he got a ride in the Coupe, it started right up and pulled like a train  PeelOut
Check the Museum's website, and they usually put pix on their Flickr page.
