I wouldn't mind getting a bottle or two. Doesn't whiskey go up in value as it ages? But perhaps the aging has to occur at the source in a barrel. Once it is in a bottle it doesn't improve? I don't drink so I am not an expert. I understand that the products are only available on the West Coast....
Found my answer: "Unlike wines, distilled spirits do not improve with age once they are in the bottle. As long as they are not opened, your whiskey, brandy, rum, and the like will not change and they will certainly not mature further while they wait on the shelf."
