Thanks  Might want to check how that date fits others that make up the main unibody of the car if you care about that sort of things

Sheet metal stampings do not include the year, just month an day of month. You have to use different indicators (not found on all panels - but on others were are changes/differences) to help determine if it might be a 65 or 66. In the case of the trunk lid the inner panel design (windows or circles) would be the give away
