you know, not that I think about it this site has been unsecure since the beginning (10 years). Just think about ALL the information that has been posted and EVERYBODY on the internet has seen.

Facebook is HTTPS...didn't help
Target HTTPS...didn't help
Equifax, JP Morgan/Chase, LinkedIn...I can keep going if you like.

Point is there is nothing to worry about. Change the channel and stop watching FOX.

And despite the site not being secure and all information available to to anyone, we still have fake info on these cars from some auction operators and web sites trying to make up "facts" about the cars for sale.  Odd. 8)

It doesn't take but about a dozen or more replies to get this thread all bent out of shape.

TO ALL WHO HAVE RESPONDED!!!  Read my OP again, I have copied and paste it.....

When I come onto the SAAC forum, it says. "Sight Not Secure" in the web bar and continues saying that even after I am logged on and the entire time I'm on here. This just started recently. Anyone else have this happening?

Ok, I said, "This just started recently". The "Sight Not Secure" has never been in my web browser.  Why has it started now?

I was hoping to get a response to this thread from the SAAC whiz kids, but obviously not....

I'm going to disappear for a while and hopefully it'll clear up by itself ::)

Did you try just typing saacforum.com into the address bar?

If you type in https://saacforum.com or if you bookmarked the link with the https:// prefix then you'll get the warning. The warning is generated by your web browser when it can't find a valid security certificate on a site with an https:// prefix. Maybe a recent browser update caused this issue to appear?

Since there isn't a payment processing feature on this forum it's not as critical for it to have a security certificate. All a certificate does is verify through a trusted source that you are on the web site that you think that you're on. EDIT: and provides encryption of the data sent and received.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to return to the bunker, put my tinfoil hat on and see what's new on InfoWars...  :o   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
